Sooooo, once again . . . It’s been a while since I last posted.
I come with good news again !!
This time, the good news is more long lasting but comes with a bit of sour news as well.
Do you guys remember how I so much loved the hostess job at Longhorn Steakhouse ?
Well… that appreciation kinda came to an abrupt stop when I learned about some managers gossiping about me and (what was perceived as lacking) my abilities.
I found out about this on a Friday night and it was the last straw in my month long frustration about the matter of managers gossiping about me. I walked out. I don’t even care about the repercussions of it. I won’t tolerate managers that can’t respect me.
I mean, yes I have some lasting issues from the TBI, but that’s not a reason to take advantage of my eagerness to work and just use me as a body to do menial work.
I’m not going to deal with it anymore. I’m done.
In other news, I am currently working at the Giant grocery store in my hometown. The pay is less, but the I get more hours and it’s a more regular (for now) schedule. It’s a super easy job and I actually get to interact with people a lot more at Giant than I was able to at Longhorn. I believe that I’ll keep this job until I move out of state.
Also !! I recently applied and interviewed at a state run facility that serves the mentally impaired population. I’m pretty confident that I’ll be accepted and I really genuinely look forward to helping people live easier lives. My purpose is to serve others.
That’s why God kept me alive from all that car accident trauma stuff. So I literally exist to help other people. I love it !! It’s my very favorite thing to do.

In other OTHER news, I fall for my boyfriend more and more each time I see him. He’s not exactly what I’ve always dreamed of as my life partner, but he IS what I need in my life.
He does everything he can possibly do to make me happy and he supports my hopes and dreams. He is absolutely great and I really love him.
We are looking to move in together in the next 2 months or so. I’m really looking forward to living with my man !! I really can’t wait until we get to cook for each other and adopt our puppy. 🙂
I’m hopeful to get a job at the Center, but if I do, I plan to keep my job at Giant until I leave Pennsylvania.
I’ll check in here periodically as things develop in life, but I’m just going to go back to my Netflix show now 🙂
